I am not rly big tripping about the situation because I feel like overall I am still perceived as attractive to most normal people and have had sex with a bunch of girls but I have always been super insecure about my side profile and sometimes other angles when someone takes a candid picture of me or smth. Im not really sure what is causing me to look like this from the side, if it’s my jaw being recessed or chin or hyoid bone or what, and I’m not sure what can be done to make it better. You're not recessed . People like here to throw the word recessed around , without even considering the side profile slightly. As long as your functionality , i.e Breathing (sleep apnea for example), chewing , teeth health and occlusion and so on is not impaired, you're perfectly healthy and not recessed. It doesn't matter if the phenotype (the visual aspect) of the jaw is looking weak or strong by your subjective standards, as long as you clearly don't have any functionality impaired and teeth malocclusion, you're not recessed.
