Often filler in these areas is just a camouflage solution for problems with your jaw or dental inclination though.

I have no clue honestly, I went in with absolutely zero knowledge about these surgeries. My only concerns that I discussed with the surgeon were time under general anesthesia and the possibility of a relapse. He decided to go for very conservative movements and I agreed, but I have no clue why he wanted to advance me as little as possible. Maybe it has to do with proportions or how my soft tissues would reposition, idk.

Local doctor but I live in Montreal so it's not your random surgeon from a small city in Uzbekistan if you know what I mean. But yeah on the bright side the surgery went really well like you've said, no major nerve damage or any other issue
