I thought the pilot episode was stellar but it falls off after that.
All of the inter-personal stuff, especially the adultery and cheating was really boring.
When it stuck to the detective narrative, it was good. If it strayed too far from that, not so much.

If you want a good Indian series to connect with your roots try watching Paatal Lok. It is very serious and does not have the Bollywood nonsense in it. Talented actors who fit the backdrop

The Shield is pretty hilarious. Vick Mackie goes from a low IQ corrupt cop to a 160 IQ strategic genius outsmarting everybody by the end.
