That's what I've heard. Never seen them myself though.Yeah the sequels prove that tbh
Already seen that peaklost
I can understand. The production value of Succession really outstrips shows made in 2000s tooThat's what I've heard. Never seen them myself though.
If Homeland doesn't like older shows then that discounts many of the best tv shows ever made.
Have you seen interstellar?I can understand. The production value of Succession really outstrips shows made in 2000s too
I watched The Terror season 1 recently. It was based on the failed North-West Arctic passage by British navigators during the mid 19th century- the Franklin Expedition.Already seen that peak
I loved Sneaky Pete Season 1. I highly recommend it for a light but very entertaining show.Have you seen interstellar?

Yeah. It was good, but nowhere near the fun I had in Prestige. In the Prestige the plot is not convoluted but it is still hard to predict the end. Unlike Nolan's other movies though, you pretty much understand what is happening in Prestige at the end. Not the same with InterstellarHave you seen interstellar?
No. I'll take a look.Have you seen “see”?
I wish I could watch that again
Interstellar is good but it shits the bed with the ending.Yeah. It was good, but nowhere near the fun I had in Prestige. I like stuff that has a good plot twist. I wouldn’t even care if a show/movie was old if the plot twist was goodYeah. It was good, but nowhere near the fun I had in Prestige. Band of Brothers, the German officer's speech at the end is amazing.Oh shit I forgot another slow burn masterpiece. Band of Brothers. Great watch
Prestige has an amazing suspense not a twist.I like stuff that has a good plot twist. I wouldn’t even care if a show/movie was old if the plot twist was good
pinnacle of tvAlready seen that peak
Thoughts on europa the last battle? should I watch it I heard it’s goodBand of Brothers, the German officer's speech at the end is amazing.
Nolan starts to lose me around Inception. I understood the film and liked its premise but his plots start to fall apart under their only over-complexity after this.Prestige has an amazing suspense not a twist.
I started watching sopranos but I couldn’t get through it due to my attention spanpinnacle of tvid say sopranos but you prolly alr seen it
So many choices, Im overwhelmed almostRashomon is a movie that is a masterpiece because only Kurosawa could do what he did with the film. Retelling the same crime through four different perspectives. It is upto you to figure out though. Kinda like movies that don't explain everything
I'ver heard many others say that about the Sopranos on this forum.I started watching sopranos but I couldn’t get through it due to my attention span
Rashomon is old so dont do it now. Start with Chernobyl. It is one season only so you can log out now and finish it in one sitting. Then watch Normal People if you like Slow burn romance. It is more than a romance but it belongs to that genre. Like Chernobyl one season onlySo many choices, Im overwhelmed almost
Imagine watching modern movies and shows filled with soyboy-looking actors, pumped full of xenoestrogens, who can’t act for shit. Terrible writing, that ugly digital look, forced wokeness everywhere when there are so many great movies in the '70s, '80s, '90s and early 2000s
For old 50s classics. 12 Angry Men is good. I enjoyed Vertigo too. Loved the filming of old San Francisco in that one.Rashomon is old so dont do it now. Start with Chernobyl. Haven't seen Vertigo. 12 Angry Men is my grandpa's favorite. I am planning to watch A Requiem for A Dream this weekendFor old 50s classics. 12 Angry Men is good. I enjoyed Vertigo too. Loved the filming of old San Francisco in that one.
It's a glorified play actually and less of a film.Haven't seen Vertigo. 12 Angry Men is my grandpa's favorite.
I'll look it upIt's a glorified play actually and less of a film.
I enjoy it because it explores the premise of law and justice and the concept of reasonable doubt.
Probably not much to the tastes of anyone here though.
