Baccano! is very underrated

video review with no spoiler

For manga I would recommend Shamo which is a fighting manga abt a japanese kid who goes ER on his parents due to them abusing him. He ends up in juvy where he is raped and meets an old karate master that teaches him how to defend himself against his bullies. He goes out of juvie and he rapes, fights and kills people like a shamo (which means fighting rooster). One of the most realistic, dark and well written mangas I've ever read and one of my favourite. Too bad it's underrated as hell.
