Doesn't training obliques make your hips wider? I'm not sure how true that is but I heard it somewhere.

Whatever could help offset my love handles, got any suggestions for serratus?
pull-overs is what you're looking for, they hit the very upper part of the oblique and the serratus, as well as your back and chest.

I doubt you can isolate them to that degree. You’ll probably end up training the lower ones too which will give you a thick waist and kill your vtaper.

Personally mine are visible at low BF.
