Why would you think they add 1.5"? Because of the chunky looking outer sole? Rookie mistake, that's just the outer sole, I can guarantee you it's identical to the original smiths.
Btw, the measurements I posted are from Rob Paul who autistically measures every sneaker by actually wearing them and measuring the difference.

Samba is basically like wearing nothing, might add max like half an inch.

Same for spezial and Stan Smith. Superstar may add a tiny bit more.

Also be aware spezial and samba are good quality made, much better than Nike, but not v comfortable and have zero cushion, as well as a slightly raised midsole, like doc martens, which will feel a bit weird if u nit used to it.

If u want an inch or more needs to be AF1
