Recommendations for surgery?

I’m not too fond of my side profile, as well as my jawline. I’m thinking sliding genioplasty.

Will a sliding genioplasty give my jawline more definition post-op? I’ve heard people on Reddit say I need jaw surgery. I’m not so sure though, since my overbite is minimal and I don’t think that my maxilla is recessed. I also talked to a cosmetic surgeon and he says that my nose is not the problem but rather my jaw/chin (my diagnosis was correct). Any advice would be much appreciated.

tbh i think you need more than genio. i would reccomend bi max.

Chin protrusion and jaw protrusion are two different things. You can see that your jawbone itself is pushed back in relation to your entire face. Getting a genio will make your chin point come forward, not the jaw.

Salludon has extreme chin prominence, almost looking fake. He could use a bit more mandibular forward growth and less chin prominence to make it look better. The chin is what makes the jaw stick out at the tip, but the jaw is the body of the lower face that gives the impression of forward growth. If you decided to get a genio instead of a BSSO, you will get something that looks kinda like salludons chin but way worse because you're recessed. You need to fix the root cause of your recession instead. Kinda hard to wrap ur head around but I hope u understand.

Also your maxilla IS flat. CCW Bimax + Genio is optimal then go for gonial implants if you want to get chad jaw
