Scientists estimate 9% of the world's plastic is recycled.
Rest goes to land fill.
It can't be burnt due to the immense CO2 emissions it would cause.
Each time you walk out to the bin after you've carefully seperated and cleaned your plastics just know that statistically, not even 1 in 10 pieces of plastic you put in the bin will actually be recycled.
You are better off just digging a whole in your garden and burying it yourself.
This dumb ass n**** has attempted to convert plastic into gas/fuel however, this process requires burning the plastic. If this were to be done at a mass scale the fucking ozone layer would collapse and we would be insta killed.
