Red face tretinoin

After a shower i always get a red face from tret, does this mean my moisture barrier is broken?

Flaky, red skin is normal. Does it burn if you put on moisturizer or sunscreen ?

My tea tree cleanser burnt a little but idk if thats just because its tea tree, moisturiser and suncream dont burn , but my face is bright red after pitting the tea tree on in a warm shower

Just put on my moisturizer and it stung like a bitch, this is only after a hot shower though
