I also used to think this, but you are wrong. Google avg height includes all the older generations of short people and starving outer villages. Average height for 21 year old males in philippines and indonesia is 5'7/5'8. extra half an inch for vietnam. 5'9/5'10 for thailand. If u dont believe me go and do some proper research

this. average height is automatically cope. it includes oldcels.

when gauging your competition you should always take the average male height for the country and add 5 cm (2") to it. Especially relevant in countries where a big chunk of the population is elderly.
