Redlight therapy is legit

In addition to a 660nm LED light from aliexpress, I have a 200 Watt incandescent lamp. Incandescents produce a lot of red light as well, but a more complete spectrum. And practically no UV so it’s not aging like the sun

I wouldn't go for anything other than a Joovv. (Don't have a Joovv right now but getting the Joovv Go soon.) I threw the €80 lamp I got in the bin. Wattage wasn't enough and it literally stopped working after a few weeks. Was at a point where the red light would only turn on if I positioned the lamp in a very particular way. And even then, the power just seemed to get weaker day by day. Was total trash, the beurer lamp.

I bought a 15W growing lamp that has a wide spectrum of wavelenghts - from 450 nm to 880nm, which I find great because there is evidence for green and blue lights being beneficial as well. Plus, it cost me 20 euros so it's not a huge deal if it doesn't work.

One more thing, the JOOVV GO is actually only 12 Watts so that makes me thing you're kinda getting robbed as it costs 10x the cheap ones.

Any physics guys who can chime in on that? How can we compare the total irradiance given we know the wattage?

Fuck, I wish I could be more of a help right now but I'm fucking exhausted. x30001 left my body and I've no iq atm due to sleep deprivationmaxing. Just stay away from the beurer ones anyway!

Which one did you get?

Do you want a link to the specific one you just its specs?
A link would be nice as well as hearing your experience using it

Can't find the exact same on on amazon rn, but the brand is SANSI and it's the 15W one. I've been using for the past 3-ish weeks mainly for some stubborn bacne that I cant pinpoint the cause for, 20 min sessions everyday while taking a nap on my stomach. So far I'd say inflammation has lessened but the pimples and overall redness are still there. I'm planning on using it for another 9 weeks and evaluate the results.

Have u seen any improvement so far?

what red light therapy should i buy

the cheapest full spectrum red light therapy device that everyone has access to is THE FUCKING SUN ITS FREE

This is at best, an uninformed, and at worst, a retarded opinion. UVA and UVB wavelengths should be avoided. Not all light is the same.

At what age should you consider starting this? How often should you do it? Does it lose effect over time? eg imagine someone abuses it early in their life, does it lose effect when they hit 50-60's ?

can someone link me red light lamp from amazon ?

yeah 15-30minutes and on my balls also
how are your balls man? I fapped last night and had more volume than I knew was possible.

update us on your balls man
Since youve been so persistent :lul:

While doing it i always felt more horny but that could be placebo. Did it on a sarm cycle and definitely felt less suppressed than without it. U can see your balls moving around its very strange, but thats probably due to the high heat.

No negative effects noted

is this shit legit tbh

Seems like it does everything, which can be good or bad.
Masseter hypertrophy is nice but what about buccinators?
Fatloss is nice but what about eye-area fat?
And the test boost seems dodgy, wondering if I'd go through withdrawal if I stopped.

I'd appreciate if anyone's got any opinions, will defo get one if these aren't issues ^

Is this legit? Anyone had some before-after photos? I have some high wattage red-blue grow lamps growing dust that i could just move to my bedroom, i just can't believe all this isn't some kind of elaborate bro science with some paid for research. They are just short of curing cancer it seems.

Many years ago i DIY some best of the market growing lights (COB LEDs) with few cables, the COB LEDs, drivers and computer fans for cooling, the main stuff bought directly from the manufacturers at China. The Joovv is a "scam", you can top of the range DIY for 20x times less money, or you can buy average chinese LEDs for 10-20x less price, they have the same effect, LEDs are LEDs. For instructions go to the dude weed lmao forums, they are the pioneers in LED lightning and have studied the effects of different wavelenghts on plants and all that shit.

Has anyone discovered the best lengths to maximize red and blue light effects?

is redlight different from the sun? i used to get a lot of sun my life was still shit

This is cool but also worrisome. So we can accidentally ruin our fat deposits in our face if we use whatever those wavelengths were? Any more details?
bump

I bought the redlightman 670 mini back in 2020 with a coof check but actually didn't use it much until recently. Additional research:
Nanometer and placement matters, for instance 670 nm is good for your balls and effectively boosts testosterone and is perfectly safe, but 830 nm DAMAGES TESTICLE CELLS, it causes diseases and changes the cells and the testosterone boost was negligible. 808 also was researched and had negative results.

830 is good for thyroid and hair, though. 660 nm is researched for hair as well, and I think 660/830 works synergistically for your hair (they do different things). 670 nm is probably similarly as good for hair and skin but less researched than 660.

Collagen production

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19593638

"In treated animals, the extent of edema and the number of inflammatory cells were reduced (P < 0.05). The amount of collagen in graft treated with low-level laser were significantly higher than those of controls (P < 0.05) and were statistically more prominent on the 14th day after surgery. The mean count of fibroblasts was significantly higher in the low-laser therapy group within the 3rd day, showing a marked influx of fibroblasts into area. In conclusion, wound healing of the ADM appear to be positively affected by laser therapy."

Skin textural improvement by digital imaging and surface profilometry is accompanied by increased collagen I deposition with reduced MMP-1 (collagenase) activity in the papillary dermis. This technique is a safe and effective non-painful non-ablative modality for improvement of photoaging.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19764893

The fibroblasts cultured with the keratinocyte conditioned medium, particularly with a combination of 630/850, increased collagen levels.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19587693

Results yielded a mean percent difference between LED-treated and non-LED-treated HRS of 31% in levels of type-1 procollagen and of -18% in MMP-1. Furthermore, profilometry quantification revealed that more than 90% of individuals showed a reduction in wrinkle depth and surface roughness, and, via a blinded clinical assessment, that 87% experienced a reduction in the Fitzpatrick wrinkling severity score after 12 LED treatments. No adverse events or downtime were reported. Our study showed that LED therapy reversed collagen downregulation and MMP-1 upregulation. These findings suggest that LED at 660 nm is a safe and effective collagen-enhancement strategy.

Acne: (most of these are with blue light as they have synergistic effects anti inflammatory + anti bacterial)

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24313686

At 1 month, >90% clearance or moderate improvement occurred in 22/50 (44%) patients in the LED group. There was no control group.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27762647 (states it is more efficient that salicylic acid for acne)

"The combined use of red and blue lights due to their anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties is a more efficient alternative for treating Acne vulgaris in relation to SA and proves more reliable and without side effects, improving the adolescents' skin health."

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23278295

"At the final visit at 12 weeks, both inflammatory and noninflammatory acne lesions had decreased significantly, by 77% and 54%, respectively, in the treatment group. No significant difference was observed in the control group.

Decreases wrinkles and fine lines
Decreases acne (from 77%->90% improvements noted) (more effective than salicylic acid)
anti inflammatory
