I remember when I first started online dating

Redpill can work for some but it won't for most people who find it. Most people who are good looking enough to get dates from cold approaching probably didn't need an internet guru to tell them how to do it. Most people who end up finding the redpill are people for whom it never would've worked, giving them a load of false hopes as they continue to pay more internet gurus and set themselves up for more disappointment.
