So I have pubertal gyno and I know that you can't actually get rid of the actual underlying tissue without surgery BUT I do know for a fact that the puffiness of the nipple can still fluctuate e.g. when I'm cold and my nipples are hard my gyno is barely noticeable. So a couple factors that affect the overall appearance of your nipples are temperature, water retention (salt), and body fat%. Does anyone else know anything that else that could reduce puffiness (I've seen people suggest things like turmeric etc.)?

The line between gynecomastia and non-gynecomastia is completely arbitrary.

First of all, every man has breast tissue, which is why they can get breast cancer. If we adopt the criteria that gynecomastia is a protrusion of the nipples from the natural curvature of the chest (even minimally and/or only in conditions that are sensitive to their visible protrusion*), we would have to say that at least 70% of men have gynecomastia and probably more. If we take the criteria in the other direction, such that "if you can see by eye" then basically we are only talking here about the psyche of the patient and whether he feels comfortable with it because even a large gynecomastia can be hidden if the conditions are right and we try.

A hardcore and strict test for gynecomastia under sensitive conditions to make it visible is as follows:

1) The patient reduces up to 5% body fat (fat can easily mask true gyno)
2) The patient does not do any physical exercise a few hours before the test and comes in relaxed
3) Goes to a very hot place with no wind, a mega hot day or preferably a sauna
4) He sits relaxed for 15 minutes and then tightens his chest muscles and looks at the nipple with a mirror from all angles to see if it protrudes above the normal curvature of the muscle with the intention of trying to prove to himself that he has gynecomastia and not that he does not have it, only when he tries and is unable to prove gynecomastia does he assume that he does not have it (scientific method)
