Spreads faster than the flu. If both had the same exact amount of cases in the same area, corona would infect more.

corona is really really contagious compared to the flu so thats why its dangerous. even though it might have such a low death rate that its basically the same as the flu in terms of how likely it is to kill you, it has the potential to infect majority of the whole world if countries dont do anything to stop it, which results in A LOT of deaths

When will you niggas understand that a lot of people need to be put in care in hospital and that is the problem with corona?!

It doubles the number of infected every 3-7 days. Regular flu is well know, there are vaccines, medicaments, but most important, the hospitals are prepared for it. The same room that is used to take care of someone with corona is used for a bunch of other diseases.

Soon, there won't be enough room on the hospitals to take care of everyone, that's the problem, and because of that many people will die.

The problem is how contagious it is. It means than unchecked everyone will get it at the same time, so even a small percentage of severe cases becomes a massive number that overwhelms a country’s medical system
