I’m planning on microdosing Accutane, but what happens to the rest of your skincare routine?

Does Accutane (even at a microdose) override the need for serums like niacinamide, azelaic acid, etc?

Or would you still use them if you had them in your old routine?

i only use spf + moisturizer because it feels nice and more hygienic lol

no need for cleansers or fancy acids unless you really like being clean i guess

yea I see what you're saying.

The only reason I cleanse though (double cleanse actually) is bcs I use tinted spf, so it's super easy to remove all the residue.

azelaic acid is actually goated, accutane will clear the acne yes but azelaic is very useful if you have pie//pih started using it again and it’s fading it like crazy . skin complexion is a lot better now

you probably do want to cleanse because of the increased skin turnover you are going to have a lot of dead skin build up on the top layer of your skin which you want to remove on accutane. at least i do and im on 40 mg currently

use spf pa +++ the usual you should alr be doing whenever you go out.
also get some taz and use it on areas you need better collagen etc. i heard a moisturiser helps but i would try to drink a lot of milk as it's very hydrating and my friend said it helps with dry eyes and lips etc

Nope, only moisturiser, cleanser, and spf

If you want though, you can add some sort of skin barrier replenishing product that could help with dry skin. This is commonly paired with accutane.
