The NEET lifestyle is a scam for the most part. Unless you got lucky with investing, how the fuck is one expected to be NEET. Rent is a huge expense so you would have to stay in your parents place, and mines won't do that case I hv a job. And unemployment benefits, you are going to have hardly any disposable income. Whats like 300$ a week going to do even after tax. It might go somewhere if you live with your parents then your biggest expenditure is gone.

But In my case I value solitude but you pay a big price. Rent is like almost half of what I make which is fucked. Rent with utitlities and tech/internet package is 1.6k a month, and keep in mind your paycheck gets taxed so whatever you think you make you multiply by 0.7, which is the tax rate I pay ( 30%). So its fucked.

When I was a studycel I wanted to kill myself. I got the grades then realised I wont get a job in that department until some boomer lecturer dies off. I have to wait like 20 years on that happeneing so its fucking hopeless.

Now im a neet. Although I wouldnt say thats the right label since all I do every day is educate myself on things to make my resume look appealing.
