Reliable way to see if chin is recessed with beard?

i got a beard that i keep relatively full but i want to know if my chin is recessed? If it isnt then maybe ill consider clean shave to test the look, but beard can help fraud recessed chin

pen test. Put a pencil or a pen on ur chin and nose vertically and look from side
