I only partially agree, as a structure of beliefs and values it's intriguing how the mind connects our humanity with spiritual or divine elements, but at the same time it works against itself to perpetuate violence in a cycle of appealing something that doesn't for sure exist. Theism or other structures of belief in a otherworldly creation/creator as a concept though is also plausible and I see the causality behind it
