In my opinion there’s probably no “right” religion. If you really think about it, so much stuff got lost in translation over history that we’re never gonna know the full truth. I do believe there’s a god or some higher being, just not an all loving Christian god. More like something beyond us that we can’t really understand, that maybe made us. I don’t think it’s cope to look for purpose. I think the real cope is when people force some explanation onto why you are the way you are just so things make sense to them. There has to be some kind of godlike being in this universe, but I don’t think humans actually have it figured out.

Maybe if humans actually progressed as a society, we’d figure some of this out. Right now we’re stuck not really knowing our own history, and honestly the only way I see us getting anywhere is if we advance enough to leave this world. Until then, we’re just not gonna know a thing.
