Religious or not, do you have a favorite spiritual or biblical quote?

For starters i do not consider myself religious at all, rather id say im an ietsist:forcedsmile:

I know this isn't the typical thread for this forum, but i think that words from spiritual sources change how we perceive life as a whole. Religious or not, I feel that certain lines particularly biblical can have a way of grounding; to realize we are just people after all.

If you have a specific quote that helps you, share it. Might help some random viewer change how they see things in life.

You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection.

i saw this on the net btw im not phisolgsdjgjsdg it was buddha's quote

I’m not a christian but here’s some of my favourites

Psalm 139

8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.

Psalm 23

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

1 John 4:7-21

God Is Love

7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

"Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt. For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose cocks is like the cocks of horses."

Ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler along a path.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Remember often the destroyer of pleasures: death.
