A nueroscientist talking about how schizophrenia resembles old prophets behavior doesn't actually prove that they had schizophrenia, because that was the point, the acts they did were so unusual that it needed investigation to see what the cause of it was. And ancient people knew what insane people looked like, they probably decided that they were possessed with demons or just mentally unstable, as in the new testament Jesus gives a story of two insane men in a gravesite who constantly cut themselves and are said to be possessed with demons.

He may very well be right, that old prophets exhibited insane behavior, but that literally does nothing to prove if they actually had schizophrenia or were sent from a divine being and that's why they acted so weird.
