for me at least

the simplest things made me so happy

i had all of my family around me - so much fun with my cousins

my birthday parties were always good. i had like 13 of my boys over and we played in the pool and shit and went to the baseball field and it was a blast

imagination

no stress overall although i had difficult moments but god damn life actually had magic

i may be coping but i feel like we grew up in an ideal time compared to zoomers

just missing the epidemic of unhapiness and giga anxiety, not being a 12 year old on social media like all of them are now and not having an iphone

I can relate. Up until 11 the world seemed magical! I looked forward to getting up everyday and being excited about the new things I could explore. I remember loving reading Disney and animal books and going to parks and playing all day long. But then as I got older I started realizing that the real world is cold place. Fast forward to 19 there is not much that's makes me happy anymore.

I wish I could say my happiness lasted until 18 but after my father's death when I was 13 and the events that transpired after that everything just lost its sparkle completely. Although when I was 11 I started realizing how cold the world was. I can only find that same magic in animals, art, and books now. Ive completely given up on most people.
