I thought it only started once the verse was revealed in the Quran at the time of prophet Mohammad pbuh

How sad it is that the God of all creation is a human construct. And even sadder is that he needs so much approval from humans.

Best of all, if that almighty god exists, he cannot deny me entry to the gates of the divine. Because my doubt is human, and a product of his creation. And so, how can a human doubt be so challenging to him?

It wasn’t called a hijab but women covered their hair and modesty was still a value in society. If you showed it to Jesus it wouldn’t look out of place and he’d know what it is for.

A woman should only show herself in an intimate manner to her husband, a daughters husband should be chosen by her father because the fairer sex cannot be trusted to choose a partner you can look at the west with all the divorces and single moms what giving young women all the power for their partner amounts to. They choose men purely based on their looks and not character, faith. nor if they can support them. Arrange marriage is not perfect but it is the best method of marriage for a society.

God is not “forcing” anybody into despair. As the previous poster said, this life is a test with free will. You can choose to accept the truth of God, because from a purely logical standpoint that is what makes sense.

You cannot expect God to give human beings heaven without at least working for it, if that was truly the case none of us would be on earth, we would all be in heaven. Human beings have the free will to commit evil, and there will always be ones that do, therefore not all of humanity is equally given a free pass to go to heaven

Yes that’s true, but if you understand male psychology you know that even the smallest details of a woman turn most men on. If a woman has her hair out she’s subjected to more sexual lust from other men, and as a man I’m sure you understand how much more it’ll turn you on seeing a woman with her hair out vs covered up.

It’s to protect herself from sexual promiscuity, the creeps within society, and her own soul. At the end of the day women control the sexual dating market, and it’s been that way since the beginning of time. A woman who covers up has the ability to weed out good men who will take care of her, and disregard the lustful men who just wanna pump and dump
