Unless you're chad in which case anything works. Then again you wouldn't have to put in that much effort to begin with if you're chad so you might have a point. It's not that going to great lengths for them in and of itself that turns them off, it's the fact that you'd even have to do that in the first place that instantly tells them you don't have it.
