It actually bewilders me though that there are people out there that oppose AI. And I don't just mean job displacement, but the spirit of AI. Using it, being more productive with it, leveraging it.

I'm 30 years old and I've tried IQ maxxing before AI existed. I can tell you RN that you will NOT keep up with IQ maxxers buffing their IQ with Ai. I probably learned decades worth of material in 2-3 years thanks to AI. If you against AI you're on the wrong side of history.

It's because AI threatens literally the only thing that most losers/incels/normies in denial/etc have as a cope. Before AI, even the biggest subhuman could at least convince themselves that they had some kind of value if they hobby or CareerMaxxed e.g. the "I'm better than you because I know C++ " cope. But now with AI? Nobody fucking cares. Literally their only pathetic source of self-esteem is being destroyed in front of their eyes. And it's the same with artists, writers, etc.

The brutal effects of this cannot be overstated. This may actually be what finally causes most men to snap; they'll just have literally nothing left. Maybe they'll get UBI or some shit so that they don't riot, but their lives will become 100% meaningless and hollow. Women will not want them even for betabucks (because it won't even exist), nobody will need them for their obsolete skills, etc. Just pure suicide and ropefuel. AI will be the great normie extinction event.

Interesting take and I do agree with a lot of what you said. Ai threatens the entire learn some specialization, become hyper specialized, get muh job, and make more money. Hyper specialized people do take an ego hit from AI if they formed their identity around hyper specializing in a particular subject.

I really am in the minority when it comes to my reaction to Ai though. I don't have a lot of success with women and Ai has not caused me to "snap". Quire the opposite. I am deeply grateful for Ai. I see it as a tutor, study partner, free therapist, etc.

Having a bad day? I vent to AI.
In the mood to study? I study and ask AI for explanations and clarifications.
I'm even looking forward to technology and the creation of Ai android wives or something.

Trying to learn C++ before Ai truly was extremely difficult. Practically esoteric knowledge. Now that Ai exists that didn't motivate me less to study it (I actually study C#). It motivated me more. Because now I have a greater mind than my own to learn from.

But, in general, I think normies are more likely to react the way you're describing about Ai. They won't see opportunities, they'll see an attack on their esoteric skillsets.
