This is a very simplified layman view of history tho no? For example majority of his army was gauls and italic people anyways, and they had their own officers and commanders. In layman history, people think way to much of that "one man", like its always Hannibal, or Alex, but completely forget about the sub commanders who were also important. Im pretty sure Hannibal always consulted with his Galic companions when doing stuff anywaysHe could've destroy Rome tbh, he chickened out at the gates and waited for no reason. all of rome thought that it's the end and they said 'Hannibal is at the gates' but he just didn't dive in, there was no true army inside, too many of them were spread through different places to watch his brothers, he could've literally slay all of Rome, history would've look different. maybe blacks were the true master race
