Removable braces recession

I have removable braces at the top and the bottom but the top one blocks my natural palate. Will this recess me over the months if I have to wear it 12 hours a day and I’m still at a young age (15).

Nah, the claims that it makes you look recessed are due to soft tissue not the underlying bone structure.
