A low view count is correlated with the number of replies (unless you shamelessly bump), this also results in a bad investment for your post to react ration, hence creating further neglection. Further emphasizing the avoidance of reputable members.
An example of this phenomenon is no other than playboyportorican and moggingmachin, even though mogging machine has looks halo, he still lacks status halo resulting in a disgusting post to react ratio aka reputation/status.

A very simple formula,
- work your up to creating personal connections with reputable members.
