I've been reselling for a while now after getting a job and my first paycheck. So far I've made around 5k in just profit. I've re invested all of it back into products
In order for you to be successful and to start out, you need a job. Doesn't matter what it is or if you enjoy it just do it for a few weeks until you've made enough to start a little side business
You going to want to target older folk, they're the only ones who can actually afford shit anyway. Specifically, you want to stick with bags. Women are always looking to treat themselves and husbands are always looking to impress. Specifically LV, every middle aged white woman wants one.
Get good quality stuff and don't buy suppliers off tiktokers
or go on spreadsheets. Go on reddit threads for good suppliers. Do some research before sending your money halfway across the world (DM for my supplier
) . Make sure you have a PayPal setup as that's what most suppliers take. Keep in mind your getting this stuff from china, they live in different time zones. Be patient. Also be patient in the fact that packages from there take a very long time to come in, Shit can take like 2-3 weeks to get here.
For marketing and advertising, stick to FB marketplace. Selling online is a pain especially since most platforms will give customers refunds without question. Only take cash.
To list on FB marketplace without getting taken down list as
- Used (Like new)
- be vague in the title, (ex. Instead of Louis Vuitton say LV)
- Take pictures of the product, not the box
- list it at a reasonable price for the item (ex. 3400 dollar bag list for 1800) and then once the listing is approved lower the price down to 0 (this way people will send you more messages)
Invest in a receipt printer, it's the easiest way to get more sales. Remember, always sell as real
make up a backstory to why your selling. People are going to be curious as to why your selling a 5000 dollar bag for 500 dollars (ps. Don't overprice, 2.5x what your bought it for at most), I like to say that my wife is trying to get rid of some the stuff her ex husband gave her. Make up some sort of sob story. tell them that your "nephew" or "Son" (you) is going to meet up with them if you dont look 35+.
If you have any questions or want some suppliers feel free to ask, I'm not gonna gatekeep or keep info behind pay walls
, we all in this together folks
