He seems to imply that Philosophers are confused. That's an assumption. He quotes a verse of the Quran to keep "direct and literal acceptance of scriptures without further discussion".

God gave man a mind, with a mind you think, and thinking makes man intelligent, separating him from animals. Just because you think doesn't necessarily mean you will stray away from accepting the existence of God. Logic is a tool to connect to God.

The mind(philosophy) is inadequate for attaining God. The soul is the means to connect to God(Sufism/Mysticism).

Philosophy should compliment Mysticism.

Just because God created the world does not mean He is limited or bound to it. If He was then He cannot perform miracles i.e. things that defy the laws of the universe. From His perspective there are no miracles, because He is able to make anything happen AND everything happens because of Him.

That is what Sufism is. It is devotion to Allah.

Sufi sheikh says if Allah removed His Sustaining power from the universe it will be destroyed.

We Hindus believe that God both Sustains and Destroys and Destruction happens by the direct will and intent of God i.e. Shiva or God as the Destroyer.

The universe cannot destroy itself, just like it cannot create itself and needs an external Creator distinct from it.
