Resting oral posture - lower jaw

This appears to be so obvious to others that I don't even see this being talked about.

How do people with proper oral posture rest their lower jaw (say during sleep or standing position)?

I use two ways:
  1. lower jaw rests in a way that molars are under molars
  2. lower jaw rests in a way that incisors are under incisors.
What are pros/cons of both ways? I think molars under molars with light teeth contact in theory can provide a bit of support for maxilla, but with incisors under incisors jaw typically looks more forward grown.

0 difference between the two because mewing doesn't do anything.
