Reta compared to cutting during puberty

I am still going through puberty and I am cutting because my bf was really high but it’s going down. I just bought 50mgs of reta but everything I see is people saying you shouldn’t take it during puberty. Would reta be worse than just normally cutting? It’s just starting to get annoying but I don’t wanna fuck my development too much
