Retainer after MARPE

I just got my marpe taken out around a week ago, but I haven't expanded in over 2.5 months. is their any downside to wearing a retainer, I don't think my teeth would close in because my sutures prolly shut again.

Wearing a retainer after MARPE is normal. It won’t close the teeth it just holds the expansion while the bone finishes settling.
Give solution it's the check on the right.
