So I, hypothetically 16yrs old, got braces and have been wearing a retainer for I think a 2 years now, can I even see changes from mewing and thumb pulling because won’t my retainers just keep everything intact? If I push the roof of my mouth more will my teeth stay the same and only the part that I’m putting pressure on move? I want a more upturned nose and foward growth but I feel like my retainers kinda just make mewing and thumb pulling useless.

no, the only way you could possibly get maxillary movement at the age of 16 is 1 mse paired w face mask dont excpect lots of change only a mm or 2, 2 surgery

thumbpulling doesnt work

mewing doesnt work and it wont work to prevent recesssion only way u can move ur maxilla is if ur a child

What if I do manifestation techniques to trick my maxilla into moving foward? Will that work?
