In this thread we can see one of the first detailed responses where it shows what clenching did to a boys face and also what clenching with temporalis (via some sort of mouth guard presumably) did to a girls face. What device did she use? The user claimed it is one which activates the temporalis rather than the masseter

but idk, some people say masseter only and reduced temporalis is better

Both at the same time is important probably. The idea that clenching is bad because of masseter activation is probably wrong. The bone resorption from clenching (constant pressure on teeth) is what causes the bone resorption imo. Regardless the temporalis is a great muscle to deform the skull complex in a desirable manner.

This is insane

“Recently an user on Reddit shared the unfortunate changes he had seen from constant clenching of the masseters. His jawline had become very bent:”

@Dr. Bruh forward clenching debunked 🙀
I've see this copypasta w this pic a hundred times but there's no way to tell which is before and which is after. The right one seems older. Also obviously nothing like that ever happened to hundreds of thousands of people who suffer from bruxism.

Also the gif shows exact opposite jfl.

Yea this is a good point, tbh I think the evidence weighs in the opposite of that shown in the copypasta
