I just finished orthodontic treatment. (fixed teeth and deep bite) I got a retainer now that covers my upper pallate. I have to use it at night to prevent my deep bite from coming back. Im scared it will recess me for some reason. Should i wear it? Does anyone have a retainer also?

a retainer hold the width of ur teeth or palate in place wouldn't this mean no more palate expansion or maxilla movement since the retainer is restricting any kind of movement
