I started Retatrutide on September 25th at 142.3kg. My starting dose was 3mg per week, pinned on Thursdays. The first week was intense – I dropped 7kg, which I assume was largely water weight, but I also experienced noticeable nausea and fatigue. These sides are typical from what I’ve read, but they definitely hit hard at the beginning.
After the first week, I shifted my injection day to Monday by skipping the Thursday dose and resuming the following Monday. Since week two, the side effects have become much more manageable, and the process has been smooth overall. I’ve remained on 3mg weekly, as it continues to provide strong appetite suppression without needing to increase.
My diet isn’t strictly tracked, but I focus heavily on nutrient-dense foods to support my body while in a deficit. I regularly consume raw milk, eggs, and lamb, along with other whole foods. The appetite suppression makes maintaining a deficit straightforward without constant hunger.
As of December 1st, I’m down to 126.9kg – a total loss of 15.4kg. Visually, the difference in the mirror is still subtle, which is expected at this stage. However, my clothes fit much looser, especially around the waist and chest. The most noticeable improvement has been in my endurance; I can now comfortably walk 15,000 steps , whereas before it would have been a struggle.
My main question is for others running Reta: What is your current dosage and pinning schedule? How has your progress been after the initial water weight loss? Have you experienced any stalls, and when did you start seeing clear visual changes in the mirror? Any tips to optimize fat loss without prematurely increasing the dose would be appreciated.
