Retin A does burn fat on the face

My malar cheek fat area is usually quite bloated

Been cutting this past month which has played a part yes. But at the body fat I'm at now my face was no way near as lean it is now.

So I've been on tret for 6 months now
Firstly noticed acne scars being way more visible which sucks
Need a way to get rid of them or hopefully tret helps fill them in

If I eat shit for few days my face blows up. Been eating shit for a few days and now woke up this morning and my Malar fat pad is defo flatter and not as bloated.

I haven't noticed any eye fat pad loss mine have always been a bit hollow. Plus I don't apply there but no doubt when I sleep it moves into the area probably tbh

I was tempted to start undereyes coz of wrinkles there but unsure still of I should.

Tldr
Retin a will eventually start to slim your bloated face. Took my 6 months to notice a change. I don't think it'll slim more which is good as it looks healthy.
I showed @FailedNormieManlet @Chinacurry a video of me and they said the hollow cheeks were very noticeable now.
I attribute that to cutting and tret 1000%

I apply vaseline under the eyes since I heard that's meant to help, I think it's mainly for irritation though

Are you already lean?

I was bloated when I started along with cutting it's made a subtle difference for me for sure

Also the fact it's made acne scars visible defo means it's done something in terms of subcutaneous fat loss

Yeah for me it's not got rid of too much, just the right amount
Like I still have e decent fat pads for my age
Yes I have tear troughs though always haved had them
