Retinol Acne?

Ive been using retinol for around 3 months now, but everytime I use it I get small pimple like bumps on my skin. Its not a huge amount of oil nor does it itch or anything at all. What do I do? Is there an alternative to getting rid of my scars?

I also know its the retinol because when I stopped for a while I stopped getting them.

I have the Cerave .3%

Again I was already on it for months yet the random acne kept appearing the morning after application

Your skin can't tolerate it because your barrier might be damaged Focus on restoring your barrier quit every active in your routine for a month, and reintroduce retinol slowly

Actually ive already been taking it for a few months. What happened is I was too heavy and broke the skin barrier.

If you’re still breaking out after 2-3 months it might have to do with your skin barrier. The initial purging lasts 2 weeks - 1 Month on average. Results are worth the wait, just do your best to take it easy at first and don’t do what I did.
