Retinol is very mild barely anything Acutane is strongest and most effective thing you should take a middle if you don’t want acutane and tretinion or tazarotene

for mild acne retinol is fine but for anything serious accutane works better though it has worse sides try retinol first then escalate if needed.

Retinol barely does anything, get on tretinoin 0,025 > 0,05 and if it doesn't work, tazarotene and only then accutane if it doesnt work

Depends how bad your acne is if you have acne that will cause scarring hop on accutane asap
