try to get 0.025, put moisturizer first and then tret, and use tret 1-3 times a week

I used retinol for few months and didn't notice any improvement

Now I switched to tret and my skin is nicer, still no glow and my wrinkles are same, but my texture got better and I don't get occasional acne anymore

I have thick skin though, for some people retinol may be more than enough. Best to start with retinol and then increase strength to avoid irritation. I started with 0.25% retinol and went up to 1%. Then I jumped to 0.025 tret, now I am on 0.05. Your skin needs to get used to vitamin A, if you start with strongest tret you will get only annoyed, so take small steps and work your way up

start? possibly yes, just bc of purging. will it also kill off acne? yes, after about a month or so.

i wouldn’t recommend under eye. could possibly mess w fat deposits and burn eyes. use something like hylauronic acid instead

you dont need to apply it directly near your eyes, even if you apply near your jaw the benefits localize over your entire face
