I’m going to start taking Retinol

For my acne what % should I get? My acne is mild and my skin is not that sensitive

Tret, 0.1 + salicylic acid along with hydralaunic acid, and moistuzer at night is what I do for moderate acne

Where should I get them at
I got tret from alldaychemist I think

Everything else is on amazon, use the salicylic acid like 1-2 MLS per night not too much, and mix with moistuzer to spread it around

But acne starts with diet imo. I use these, conceptually to clear out the bad diet I used to have, and aid in clearing slip ups I make on the day to day

I'd assume if I was on carnivore I'd have no acne

Minimize carbs and sugar

There is only 1 tretinoin jfl. But start with the smallest percentage and always patch test

Go for tret. The problem is that retinols are roughly 20x weaker than tretinoin, which is why they're sold over the counter with no prescription.
You would need to apply OTC retinols and retinoids for 5 years to get the same results you would get with tretinoin in 3 months.

Why not just use tazarotene works 3x faster than tret

Tretinoin 0.05% for minor acne, alldaychemist

(Pricy but better)

I'm broke so rn I use:

Lubriderm Daily Moisture Lotion + Pro-Ceramide with Shea Butter & Glycerin Helps Moisturize Dry Skin, Hydrating Face, Hand & Body Lotion is Lightly Scented & Non-Greasy, 24 fl. oz https://a.co/d/2Q90Pm0

And sunscreen in the morning

And acne scrub once or twice per day

PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength Antimicrobial, 5.5 Oz https://a.co/d/9XvExwS
Routine:

Am: panoxyl in the shower first, mix with water on Face, scrub for 1 minute, and rinse off

Get out,

Mix a bit of Moisturizer, vit c, hydralaunic acid, all together, rub on thoroughly but not roughly

Use Toner,
1- 2 light layers (evens skin tone helps me not get dry like The Thing in public)

Then I use a bit of Moisturizer and Toner mixed on top after all that (Dry Skin type, maybe not required for you)

At night use everything besides sunscreen, after doing an acne scrub if needed,

then at the end use your retinoid/acids/ tret, with some extra moistizer

Panoxyl and retinoids/acid/tret will make you more dry

Cheaper protocol

panoxyl, once in the morning

Moisturizer
vit c OR hydralunic acid
sunscreen

Night-
salicylic acid
