RETIREMENT

Hi guys, been a while. Just dropped in to say I’ll be retiring as Administrator.

Figured I’d make matters official since I haven’t been much of an administrator the last few months anyway.

Don’t yet know in what capacity I want to continue.

I enjoy organizing the yearly surveys and other incidental events but otherwise I don’t really have the will or energy to help users with day to day issues or whatnot (my 40 unread PMs attest to this fact!).

I reckon that’s best left up to the guys who’ve been in charge the last few months. The forum seems to be coasting along like normal— in whatever way you can call this place normal).

I guess I could’ve just continued matters as they have been. You know, kept the role and otherwise did nothing (which fool would let go of such tremendouspower, after all?) but I figure since I never liked guys who didn’t know when to hang up their coats I shouldn’t be one of ‘em.

Well, what else is there to say? Forget all the cliche stuff about “goodbye, had a fun time, I’ll miss you guys!!!”— it’s not goodbye.

I’ll be dropping by every once in a while (as I have been), posting if I feel like it. I just figured it’s best done without the uniform.
