Also, it does numb it but not well enough+ the pain will travel like electric

Red= travel of pain

blue= area that's numb

yellow= nerve

black= needle

So the pain will travel from pinning the nerve and get to an area that isnt numb+ even if that wasn't the case and the whole site was numb you'd still feel it

thanks for the explanation, yea i thought something like this would be the case

thats how i got over the fear of pinning lol, as long as i didnt feel the pain extend far i was fine

however sometimes when i pinned i would feel pain radiate to my ear, like near my ramus/tmj
then i would just reposition
