Those of you who are microneedling, do you reuse the needles? If so, how many times do you do so(and how long is each session)?

Some argue that you should be on the safe side and replace them after each session. But others say that the needles are designed to last for 60 minutes, and thus may be reused until you have reached that time limit(which makes sense to me).

Tagging some who I know are doing microneedling, or who I figure might be doing it

You have to disinfect them before and after use, at least that's what I do and then I use them for 3 months until I replace them. I have never had inflammation through it. A session probably 15 minutes and this 1 time every week

Yeah, of course disinfect every time. But man, 3 months until you replace them! Do you feel that it rejuvenates your skin regardless?

Fine for how many uses?
idk I've used the same chink stamp for many sessions. don't feel the the difference. cartridges have fewer needles so will dull faster. you're supposed to feel when it's dull but err on the side of caution if using for face

I have a derminator 2 and replace them after use. Otherwise I have to desinfect and it's too much hassle. The cardridges are cheap (€4)

Yeah, makes sense to be cautious on the face. What device are you using? And which body parts do you needle?

I also have the D2. Which needle depth are you using? 1mm?

Yes 1mm, i try every 2 weeks and use a cream to numb my face, otherwise it hurts too much. How often do you use it?

What do you think of Dermastaps, comared to pens? Do you mainly use stamps for scars?
stamps are cheaper and more needles so less blunting. most pens are turbo dogshit weak (battery operated jfl). nobody but a select few sellers of several thousand dollar equipment (only available to clinics) provide guarantee and proof of needle quality. which is the most important factor. it doesn't matter if you stab by hand or a machine stabs you, what matters is needle quality, quantity and price. anyway machines can cause additional side effects such as hair getting tangled up, you not being able to tell how much you've done a certain area and additional tearing as you move the pen on the surface. you can also get smaller stamps for more difficult to reach areas

my thoughts on the derminator here https://looksmax.org/threads/why-is...s-a-literal-doxxer-and-batshit-insane.169985/
even if you successfully get the device the needles are shit and you are locked in to a retard supplier for future cartridge buys (with several months of non tracked shipping. have fun)

Thanks for the indepth response, appreciate it. And I share your thoughts about the maker of the Derminator 2, he’s(yes, he is actually larping as a foid) a fucking joke of a base dweller. But what is your opinion of Dr. Pen? Did I waste my money on my M8?

probably. another thing about stamps is you can go slow because there are many needles. I don't think it's ideal to quickly stab and tear the needle out. there is a hole on youtube that uses dr pen her skin is pretty busted

2-3 uses per needle MAX (FOR SCALP. For face never reuse).

Clean with 10 min in alcohol before each session

Do you mean Penn Smith? If so, I think she wrecked her skin due to sun damage though.

Use alcohol spray to disinfect, However remember with repeated use the nails become blunt so they’ll hurt more

Could you elab on why not to reuse? Regardless of the time spent using the needles?

They break and bend and can get broken and injure you or get stuck in a weird angle

But don’t you agree that this should be contingent on how much time you spend using them? I doesn’t make sense for a person who does a 5 minute session to change as often a one who does 15 minutes, just as an example.

sure. she's also a fillercel. but her skin still looks pudgy despite a fuckton of makeup and fillers

I used to do it for scalp an using it more than 2-3 times was impossible. (10-20 min session each time). Every time it penetrates your skin it bends a little after hundreds and thousands of times it gets bent and it will become uneven)

Ngl, regardless of the fillers I think she has some milf appeal jfl. She has a lot of sun damage, yes, but I think her skin in general is quite good regardless for her age. Not sure we can judge her flaws are due to the pen. Overall, what is your main piece of evidence that made you determine that pens are not safe to use?

do not reuse

just buy a punch of the stamps in bulk. if you wan't to get 60 mins out of it then do it into your hairline/temple or neck, back of hands, any area/

ok niggers you really need to chill with the no reuse advice. my stamp literally got better with time due to the surface imperfections disappearing but no blunting taking place. I checked with microscope

Do you also recommend stams instead of pens as some others here?

I reuse it 3 or 4 times I'd say. But I always dip it in rubbing alcohol for a minute before I start.

Also, needle to a point where its noticeably red and maybe slightly bloody. But blood shouldn't be pouring out.

Do you needle the rest of your face,
or solely your hairline and scalp?

Just hairline. TBH microneedling on face is not worth it unless you have atrophic scars you want to cure.

How about wrinkles and fine lines?

What's the purpose on microneedling those areas?

TBH laser results mogs microneedling so hard. If you have money, laser and some botox here and there along with tretinoin will create the best results and result in the least down time.

Is this some shit I can do myself at home like microneedling or do I need a professional for the laser?

Would you say microneedling is worth it for someone who is broke? Anecdotally, I did have some sessions with a professional(before I knew you could diy) and I had quite good results, not just for the scars.
