Reverse headgear at 16

Hi guys, I was thinking, does a reverse headgear work at 16 yrs old with the skull gaps not closed? I am unsure to get one because I saw alot of people saying that works and alot of people saying that doesn't. I want to hear your opinion guys, ty in advance

prolly gg, they won’t work, check ur bone age or get a cbct scan

They definitely are open, they stay open for a good bit, maybe 18-20, but the thing is , reverse head gear stops working because of bone hardening. And at 16 it’s prolly done and won’t work, usually kids or people who are max 12 get this and see results

u can’t get forward growth anymore without surgery, the only and rarely this happens, if ur bone age is like 11-12, u can, but this also means ur a very late bloomer, like 4-5 year delay which is extremely rare
