Rhino or Genio? Which gives better ROI?

I know I need bimax/BSSO. I can't get it RN.

Surgeon told me that getting a genio would be retarded because my chin would be pointy, and that I actually need lower jaw advancement.

If that's the case, why does my morph look kinda ok when I enlarge my chin?

Is he right? Explain the genio examples below then.

Do NOT do genio then. Your pogonion (the chin bone itself) is not the problem, your mandible length is. You need double jaw surgery to correct this.

If you can only do genio or rhino rn, genio should not even be an alternative. Do rhino, genio would be horrible.

Appreciate it man. To do BSSO, I need to align my teeth which would take 1.5 years first.

Would you say that doing BSSO at my level of reccesion would make a big difference?

For example these guys had a very similar profile as my and their BSSO results were kinda underwhelming. It's almost as if genioplasty gives better results.

Yea, I think your overbite might be worse judging off lip alignment. Yes, it will make a big difference, even for the guy you used as a refrence it made a very big positive impact, but his maxilla is very recessed.

Thanks again. I'm getting rhino now, and then BSSO in the future. Probably will take atleast two years tho, but fuck it. Kinda annoying to do it so late in life.

I mean thats around avarage front profile. The problem is that your jaw problems are still visible from the front even tho it mostly affects your side. Its very unnattractive because its a huge breathing and jaw disfunction that you will have on potential children...
What brings you up to around avarage is the fact that you do have some good features.

For example, breathing effectively was a way bigger factor for survival in africa. Therefore africans that survived carried on the genes of good maxilla's and widened alar bases.

This is a surface level, low effort explanation tho.
