not much pain at all honestly; the worst part of recovery was the mucus/blood in the nose blocking the breathing, the inability to sleep in positions that could put the nose in a position of contact, and the constant paranoia about the change of the look from the swelling and minor taps.

pain doesn't even rank amongst the top 10 most annoying things in the recovery process

Impossible to tell objectively if whole face isn't posted. You can't just post a nose, an ear, a chin, or whatever, and then ask if it's good. Whole face must be posted in order to give objective judgement.

Based on this picture, chances are quite high that it's an improvement. But full certainty cannot be given.
