People criticize ribcage widening because it's not putting your bones under constant stress but what if you slept with a curved object under your upper back to cause constant expansion and a curved position?

Would this cause back pain? Has anyone done this?

Very interesting theory, try it and keep posting your results here

If you flare out bottom ribs by lordotic supination, you won’t be getting full exhalation. Your rib caze flares out during deep inhalation but it needs to do the opposite to exhale properly. Exhaling is the most important part of respiration as it creates the deficit to passive inhale. Basically, you’re creating sleep apnea like situation but instead of blocking upper airway intake, you are blocking the lower airway exhalation thru intercostals and diaphragm.
